"I reached out to Dan after a period of injury when I was wanting to prepare for a marathon and needed some guidance. There was only 6 weeks or so where we could work together and Dan came up with a plan which progressed safely and was supplemented with proper rest, recovery and strength training. That was the best I’ve felt in a marathon and came away with a 2:36 and more to give.
After a busy summer of not much structure or training, Dan helped me again build up to another marathon at the end of September. We had more time and again, Dan’s plan got me in good shape. The goal was slightly different in the second marathon but I was in much better shape and came away with a 2:33.
Overall it’s been great working with Dan. Training is not a one size fits all and Dan takes the time to understand your history, goals and life commitments and structures a plan based around those to try and get the best out of you.
